Monaco has everything, from McDonalds to high-end restaurants. You also have places set up on the street serving sandwiches etc, as well as several large supermarkets. You didn’t really say what kind of recommendations you were looking for? If it’s a restaurant, you will need to make a booking if it is a good one and close to the circuit.

I don’t make the rules, but I guess some kind of ticket for race day would be enough

Should be anyone with a weekend ticket for the race, but you may be able to still do it without – after all the weekend ticket holders have been let through.
