Where did you buy? I assume from a reseller, as the tickets via Ticketmaster in Mexico sold out on day one back in November. Normally you can only choose specific seats when buying via the official source (normally the circuit website or promoter website). When you buy from a reseller, you won’t be allocated a seat until the actual e-tickets are issued to you, normally a few weeks before the race. As for the specific question about best seats in grandstand 15, I’m not 100% sure and I don’t have a seating plan. But high up would be better.

I have a ticket for grandstand 15 this year 2024. Where do you think is the best seating area there? I haven’t been assigned a seat. Weird ? Thanks. Robin

Check the 2023 circuit map here. I don’t have a seating map, but it seems like you are in Grandstand 15 (Foro Sol North)

We paid for section 15. Is this correct? I cannot find a seating chart with a section described in that way.

It’s mentioned as an “also” option, but we are staying in City Center and seems the most direct.

Yes you can, but check if there is a metro nearby – maybe you can take it one stop to save your legs in the morning. Walking home after the race will probably be quicker than waiting for public transport

If my hotel is about a mile away can I just walk to the track?

Pretty sure you won’t have a problem. Ask your hotel to order if you have a language issue. Alternatively, Uber works in Mexico City
