Last few times I was at the Singapore GP, I always went with the Premier Walkabout. I don’t mind not having my own reserved seat, because I like to explore. And of course it’s much cheaper. I think the race is getting a bit more popular, and the organizers have added some new grandstands in the last few years that take away some of the Premier Walkabout areas, but I would still choose it and save the money!

It’s my first time attending an F1 event, and I love cars, which makes me super excited.

I am looking at the ticket for SG GP 2024 and hesitated whether I should go for the grandstand or Premier Walkabout.

T2 grandstand is my ideal spot, but it’s a bit over budget for me. While for the Premier Walkabout, I believe I am able to find some good spots near T2 but pay half the price. What do you think?

They will be on sale later. I’m not 100% on memory, but I think they didn’t go on sale this year until around March – but it could have been earlier. Subscribe to the Singapore GP website for updates, also subscribe to our site – and check the box for Singapore. We’ll let you know when they go on sale!

I’m interested in buying the Walkabouts ticket. Do you have any idea on when usually they’d be on sale? I think they didn’t sell it on the Early Bird one. Will they be on sale with the normal ticket type or different dates? Thank you in advance!

Thanks, Andrew! Will be my first time in Singapore and will be heading to Bali after so rather excited, even if it’s a year away.

Tickets purchased!! Decided to get block A6 in Turn 1. Ended up with row 6, which is a little lower than I’d of liked but sure they will be fine. Now to get the flights sorted.

Super Early Bird was a very nice surprise and much cheaper than I expected to pay.

Hi Alex, you have good timing. Super early bird tickets for Singapore 2024 went on sale yesterday!
When you click on the grandstand you are interested in, you get to the seat plan after going through a few steps – and you can see what’s available. I think A6 in Turn 1 is a good section. I also like A3 or A4 in Turn 2, as you get a front on view of the cars coming down the straight, and then taking Turns 1-3. The Super Early Bird prices are only valid until September 25, so you will save by buying early.

Another question from me for another GP! You’ve helped me with Monza last year and Silverstone this year, so now my questions for Singapore … next year! Thank you as always!

Sorry as I know it’s early but as I am from the UK I need to plan this trip quite far in advance. Reading you’re guide I think I am going for tickets in Turn 1 Grandstand block A5 / 6 or 7, leaning towards A6 though. Do all of these sections see the cars coming to the end of straight and going round turns one, two and three?

I see tickets tend to go on sale a year in advance, so I suspect any time over the next few weeks! How quickly do they sell out and do you have an idea what time of day they go on sale as there is a big time difference and worried I may be asleep and miss the good seats!

Thanks again!

In my opinion, Premier Walkabout is much better than Padang Grandstand. The key is that you want to have Zone 1 access. This is where most of the action happens, and there are less people in Zone 1 than in Zone 4.
