In reply to Ray. Sounds like a specific issue with Gootickets. That was not a great offer they made. Honestly, the West Grandstand is much better than the North Straight grandstand, and a lot more expensive too. You should have received a refund on the difference. But other than that, I can confirm they are a legitimate company, so you can be sure you will actually receive your tickets.

In reply to Nabila. The only way to secure specific seats is to buy direct via Yas Marina Circuit (same advice applies to most other races, too). Normally, F1 Experiences will get a decent allocation, but if you want to be in a specific sector and low/high, then you need to reach out to F1 Experiences and ask - if they have seats in your chosen sector, they should be able to allocate to you.

Anybody had issues with ticket changes?
I bought west grandstand premium tickets in march and 2 months ago gootickets sent me email that they will either cancel my ticket and refund me or that i can move to north straight grandstand… no difference in money. Since we booked hotels and flights we accepted that even though we dont like it.
Im afraid we want see anything from there, and tickets were around 700eur…

I bought tickets for the Abu Dhabi gp this year through f1 experiences, the trophy package. I wasn’t able to pick my seats. Does booking through f1 experiences guarantee me great seats or do I have to make a request?

In reply to Faizan. See the map here. For the pitlane walk on Thursday, the Yas West entrance is best. You need to walk through a tunnel under the race to get to the fanzone, where you can join the pitlane walk. As for getting a taxi after the race, it can be difficult. If you don't stay for the concert, probably the best place to get a taxi is from the main entrance of Yas Mall (near Ferrari World). You may also try Yas Plaza, where there are several hotels.

Hi Dan! Little known is that you don’t need a race ticket to enter the Marina on race weekend. You used to be able to even see a little bit of the track from one area, but I haven’t checked since they changed the circuit layout in 2021. For sure it will be easier to enter the Marina if you have a reservation or tickets for a boat party, but I think anyone can still enter – ticket or not. It’s a public area after all, with restaurants and bars open to the public.

Hi Andrew,
Nice to see all your responses to help everyone on the tickets for F1. Some great info in there. I would like to know what tickets are required to enter the marina section where all the boat parties are happening later in evening? I did this about 8 years ago and had an incredible time. We were also super close proximity for watching the race plus the boat had TVs inside so we could keep an eye on the rest of the race. Is this only allowed if you purchase direct from boat owner/manager? Do regular grandstand tickets allow access to the marina also?

Hai…which entrance do I need to use to get into the pit walk on Thursday for the Abu Dhabi race?…my tickets is the hillstand.

For the sunday race….where is the best place to get a taxi after the race?
