Unfortunately, I have a tendency to be late to the party every year with many hotels sold out or charging exorbitant rates.

My 2024 is a little unusual. Travelling from the north, I have easy train access to Coventry, where I will be staying from Friday to Monday. My hotel is close to the central bus station, where I will get a National Express coach to and from the circuit each day, with the journey taking around an hour.

Staying in Coventry, I was able to find a reasonably priced hotel room. While the coach travel wasn’t the cheapest at £20 per leg (£40 a day) it isn’t unreasonable and still worked cheaper than staying in Milton Keynes or Northampton.

Of course, being at the mercy of public transport means I may not be able to stick around for the concerts but I’m okay with that. For those of us who can’t camp or drive I think I’ve crafted a decent little plan.

Pretty sure you need to book your camping place in advance. You can book Woodlands via the Silverstone website.

Hi Reuben,
I may be a bit late on asking this so just wondered if your room was available from the Fri to Monday? Please let me know as soon as possible as I would be flying from Australia and not booked my flights or tickets yet.
Thanks
Hayden

I have a double and a single room I can let people stay in and won’t be charging anywhere near the hotel/b&b prices. If anyone is interested please get in touch on 07821053099

Hi John, provisional date is July 7-9, 2017. This won’t be confirmed until closer to the end of 2016.
