1. Will a Zone 2 T10-Casual ticket get me on the train to Montmelo? (The RENFE is part of the integrated transport system, so I think it will, but the info is a bit confusing).

2. Does the RENFE sell out? Is it worth booking specific tickets to make sure I can get on the train?

Cheers in advance (i’m sure i’m not the only one a little confused by this)

They haven’t sold alcohol in the fan zones in Barcelona for some time, since about 2016 I believe. (This doesn’t apply to trackside hospitality suites, where they do serve alcohol). But it’s not the end of the world. There are some bars next to several entrance gates (notably Gate 6), where you can get alcohol, not cheap though. It’s possible to get a pass out and go to the bar during the day before returning to the circuit.

Just reading up on some things and came across that you cant buy alcohol within the circuit? I understand that most if not all tracks dont let you take your own in, which is fine. but do they not even sell it within the circuit?

Yes, you can bring a power bank. (Italy has restrictions on taking power banks into the track, but not Spain)

I’m attending the Grand Prix this year and it is my first one! i just wanted to ask if i am able to bring a power-bank to charge my phone in case the battery gets low as I know being at the circuit is a full day thing so with taking pictures and videos my battery will run out quite quick!

Hello, recommend buying your tickets in advance. There should be a special ticket (10 EUR per day) to get you from the city to Montmelo, closest station to the track. I recommend the train, but try to avoid the peak times. And remember you have to walk from train station to the track (30+ mins). If you don’t want this walk, take the bus – it drops off closer to the track. But with everything, lines can be long. More info here: https://f1destinations.com/getting-around-spanish-f1-grand-prix/

For the e-tickets, you need to reach out to F1 Tickets and ask them for a code. I can’t help you with specific ticket providers, aside from our own recommended one.

Or do you recommend bus/taxi over the train?

Also, we buy our 3-day tickets from Formula1.com and usually receive the digital tickets 5-7 days before the races. Is there any way to secure the Thursday Pit Lane Walk tickets without a ticket barcode? Thanks!

Car should be ok, as long as you are patient. Best to try and avoid peak times for arriving and departing the circuit if you can. Parking tickets not yet available, but should be soon. These will be available from the circuit and also from our supplier.

We came in 2022 when the traffic was horrendous but we were doing an F1Experience package with track transfers arranged so we didn’t mind as much! Looking to book for this year! If hiring a car where do you purchase the parking passes? Thank you

Hi Steve, how was your race experience of the weekend and race from the front row of Grandstand F? Did you watch the start of race sitting or standing at the protective railing?
